I’m just totally blessed that I got to marry into this incredible family. That these three sistaaa's have become some of my best friends, and they get to now rub off on me. I hope you enjoy looking through my shoot with them, and get a true sense of the bond they share with each other, and the world around them!
As someone who creates images for a living, I understand the value exceptional photography has on small businesses and if you are not capturing somewhat professional-looking imagery for your business. I am telling you first hand, you are doing yourself a major disservice, and missing out on potential business!
Avoid the REGRET!! : We hear it all the time. Couples who opted not to hire a videographer, and later wishing they had. The simple fact of the matter is that we humans, cherish memories. And there isn’t a better way to capture them, then through a video. Don’t put yourself in a situation of “what could have been”.
We banked on nice weather. We didn’t come up with a back up plan(other then jamming everyone in the barn). Well of course you might of guessed what happened...
What I love so much about our uniquely awkward engagement is that in the end, Paul didn’t care that things didn’t go according to plan. He just wanted to get engaged.
This was all such a cool experience for me. Generally the adrenaline starts pumping just before a race. However it was a continual rush throughout the whole morning as we balanced getting all the shots we needed, while getting a race done right in the middle.
I hope this album brings to mind those friendships that call you deeper. I urge you to seek out, and go after those types of relationships. To find “your people”, it’ll bring so much joy to your life when you do!
Every single time we conduct an interview with a client, we get asked the question: “is this normal”, (referring to the difficulties that arise with interviewing). The answer is a resounding YES! It is so normal to experience a wee bit of awkwardness as you try to share your story.
I love the idea of a first look, but Ryan and Rebecca brought that love to a whole other level. My last words of advice before their first look was “we are going to have cameras in your face all day, but forget about that, and just enjoy this moment together”... and that is exactly what happened!
Over the past few months, I had the opportunity to do a maternity and newborn shoot with Melissa. I was reminded how much the miracle of childbirth amazes me. Thanks so much for being the absolute cutest mom and son duo. Capturing life’s newest moments is certainly becoming a new favourite.
